Giant car show on the CO Front Range, this Sunday, 3 May! From 1 to 4 PM at 10685 Westminster Blvd, Westminster. If you want to show your car, pre-registration is free until 11 PM Thursday 30 April. Day-of registration is $20. Spectating is free! If past years are any indication, there will probably be not quite 2,000 cars there. The great thing about this show is that it attracts pretty much every type of automotive niche and culture. FJ45 troop carrier? Sure. T-bucket street rods? Yep. Rat rods? How many would you like? J-tin, euro, american classics, moderns, exotics, euros, motorcycles, trucks, lowriders, donks, pre-War, stance, rock crawlers, desert trucks, bosozoku, track monsters, VIP, 1/4 milers, you name it. The best-in-show in 2013 was a nicely restored Pantera. With nitrous added. Because it wasn’t fast enough, I guess. It barely beat an immaculate T-bucket.
The food trucks are excellent, and so are the sponsors and raffle prizes. Looks like there will be a portable dyno on site, too.
Note: I’m not affiliated with CUSCC or any of the sponsors. I just really like this show.

Hey! I’m near there! My son plays hockey at the Ice Centre.

If you can make it, the show will not disappoint. It’s probably the best variety of cars I’ve seen at a show. It’s in the giant parking lot by the Dave and Buster’s and bowling places.

Maybe 2016! It’s a yearly event, and keeps growing. I doubt it’ll move far, if at all. It’s a nice kick-off to the non-skiing part of the year here, too.
If you haven’t already, check out the Golden Supercruise. Worth the trip down to Golden. Bring some folding chairs and make a fast-food picnic, watch all the cars. Or the ColoRODans Cruise Night(s) in Longmont. Or come out to a track day at HPR (Z Car Club Colorado is 28 June, cheap to drive, free to watch or ride along with a helmet and long sleeves/pants).

I’ll be at Watkins Glen that day in June but thanks for all those tips. The Supercruise and Cruise Nights in Longmont I’ll try to get to. I may be out at High Plains another time, but I’m only here through July right now and the day I would be at will be after that more than likely.

Okay, well, Watkins Glen is a pretty darn good reason to miss it! Smooth travels, and enjoy your CO time!

Wish I could go. Finals.
Side note: I may have seen your Z on foothills a month or so back while commuting to school.

The new finals schedules are brutal. Saturdays and Sundays are fair game.
Very possible! Black Pearl ‘78 280Z, with the big stock chrome bumpers and CO collector plates? If it was a weekday, I likely had a kid seat strapped in the passenger side. I haven’t seen another resto-mod black S30 around here in several years. I’m trying to enjoy the good-weather days as much as I can. Next week looks very precipitation dominated.

going from the FB page looks like many of my honda brethren will be in attendance. I’ll pencil it in and see what the wife says. She’s usually fine with me taking kids out of her hands for a few hours :D

Definitely worth it if you can make it. Hope the weather holds out, though. Detailing a black car to get caught in the rain the next is less fun.
